Spartakiad «Densaulyk-2019»

In order to promote a healthy lifestyle and increase the interest of the university staff to sports, on January 10-12, 2019, the «Densaulyk-2019» Spartakiad of teaching staff took place.

The Spartakiad was held in such sports as volleyball, table tennis, chess, futsal, skating and skiing. About 500 teachers and university staff took part in the competition.

For two days of the Spartakiad, the struggle of amateur athletes for prizes was intense, but also very exciting. All teams showed their best.

The closing of the «Densaulyk-2019» Spartakiad took place on 12 January. The best players and teams that have become winners were awarded well-deserved awards.

University rector Takir Balykbayev opened solemn event. He congratulated the participants with a successful end of the Spartakiad and thanked for the hard work, the will to win.

According to the results of the games, the team of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports won the first place; Rectorate team was awarded the II place; team of the Institute of Philology and multilingual education -the 3rd place.

The winners of the Densaulyk-2019 Spartakiad were awarded diplomas and cash prizes in the amount of:
I place - 120 000 tg,
Second place - 100 000 tg,
Third place - 80 000 tg.

Players with the most active game were also awarded with diplomas and cash prizes.

The team of sports judges were awarded with letters of thanks and cash prizes for professional quality judging.

Winter Spartakiad strengthened the team and corporate spirit in general of the participants of the Olympics, gave a sports mood to everyone who came to these days at the «Spartak» stadium.
