Solemn end of the decade

«Self-knowledge: the pedagogy of love and creativity»

On February 12, 2019, within the framework of spiritual renewel, the solemn closing of the decade «Self-knowledge: pedagogy of love and creativity» took place with the final competition «Zhүrek іzgіlik mekeni», timed to the birthday of the author of the program of spiritual and moral education «Self-knowledge» - Sara Alpysovna Nazarbayeva.

The final event of the decade was attended by: the director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Professor Berikzhan Almukhambetov, head of the department «Pre-school Education and Social Pedagogy» Ulbosyn Kiyakbayeva, teaching staff of the department - Mirash Suranshieva, Nazira Atemkulova, Galiya Abylbakieva, Magrip Ibraev, Assem Bullshekbaeva, Nazgul Dayrabaeva, head of the club «Meyirіm» Gulbahira Shirinbayeva, student volunteers, students in the specialty «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge», student youth of KazNPU.

The purpose of the competition «Zhүrek іzgіlіk mekenі» - identifying the value potential of students, contributing to the spiritual and moral transformation of the future teacher as a person and the realization of their purpose in this life. Achieving the goal was carried out through the improvement of social and educational activities through the integration of the whole variety of aspects of the program «Self-knowledge». On this basis, during the decade following the results of the event among the students of the specialty «Social pedagogy and self-knowledge», teams of finalists were determined. The teams were selected not by chance. They symbolized universal spiritual values: «Truth», «Inner peace», «Righteous behavior», «Love», «Non-violence».

The competition «Zhүrek іzgіlik mekenі» was held in two stages.

First stage. Each team had to complete the task on the topic «Self-knowledge in our life». In general, it was clear that all the teams were well prepared, and noted the main points in their speeches, namely: the spiritual depth of the author`s own idea - to reveal the essential component of universal human values and the second point is the special significance of social and pedagogical work in the aspect of «Self-knowledge» integration.

The second stage was of course more dynamic. At the competition of performances, team members managed a lot. First, the bold use of expressive means of various theatrical genres; secondly, classical works of art, vividly demonstrating universal human values, were taken as a basis. It is worth noting the creativity of expression during this competition of such an idea as the integrity of the Planet, nature, and society. In short, the jury, which assessed the performances of the teams in accordance with pre-established criteria, had a hard time.

The jury of the competition «Zhrek іzgіlіk mekenі» included: Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Daulen Idrisov, Vice-Chairman of the University`s Committee for Youth Affairs Didarbek Dildabek, teachers of the discipline «Self-knowledge» Aigul Akhmetova and Sagynysh Oshakpayeva.

The «Love» team won the competition with the most points.

According to the results of the competition «Zhүrek іzgіlik mekenі» places among the participating teams, were distributed as follows:
І. Team «Love»,
ІІ. Teams: «Non-violence», «Righteous behavior»,
III. Commands: «Truth», «Inner rest».

The teams that took the first, second and third places were awarded, respectively, diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree. In addition, active students were awarded diplomas for social charity events and intermediate competitions that were held during the decade.

The final event of the decade «Self-knowledge: the pedagogy of love and creativity» ended with an artistic firework of outstanding performances by university students and the creative group of the volunteer club «Meirim». Students addressed to Sarah Alpysovna magnificent music and flash mob-dance numbers, sang songs, showed performances, which differed spiritual and meaningful depth. The atmosphere of love, mutual respect, creative, unity, reigned in the hall. On this bright day, we were united by the love of the world in which we live, the desire to become better, smarter, and nobler. This was the result of familiarizing with the eternal universal values, which are so intelligibly stated in the program «Self-knowledge: the pedagogy of love and creativity». Therefore, referring to the author of this program, we say: Thank you, dear Sara Alpysovna!
