The acceptance of applications for a state grant for the Foundation Faculty has begun

Acceptance of applications for participation in the competition for studying at the Foundation Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Preparation of Abai KazNPU based on the state education order will take place from August 5 to September 5 of the 2024 year. Applications can be submitted online by emailing scanned documents in a single PDF file to abai.foundation.2024@gmail.com. Alternatively, applications can be submitted offline in paper form at the Student Service Center, located at 28, Kazybek by street.

The competitive selection will be conducted by the admissions committee from September 10 to 15 of the 2024 year. The schedule for the competitive selection is available on the university`s official website at https://www.kaznpu.kz/.

Applicants must present their identity documents to be admitted to the selection competition. The selection will be conducted in the form of an oral interview to assess the applicant`s general level of preparation and aptitude for the profession.

During the interview, applicants should demonstrate their comprehensive thinking by answering general cognitive questions posed by the selection committee. Interviews will be conducted individually and in a dialogical manner.

The interview will evaluate the following:

1. Commitment to the chosen profession.
2. Understanding of the chosen profession.
3. Awareness of the place and importance of the profession in society.
4. General cultural level and breadth of thought.
5. Necessary qualities for the future profession.

The maximum score for the interview is 100. Applicants who score less than 50 points or fail to attend the interview will be considered to have failed the selection competition. Retakes of the interview are not permitted.

Admission to the Foundation Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Preparation of Abai KazNPU will be finalized from September 25 to 28 of the 2024 year. The training period in the Foundation Faculty for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Preparation will be from October 1 to June 30 of the calendar year (9 months). The list of applicants who have passed the competitive selection will be published on the university`s official website starting September 25 at https://www.kaznpu.kz.
