Students meeting with a graduate of Abai KazNPU Kuralai Nurkadilova

On March 4, the university hosted an event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, in the framework of which a meeting was held with Kuralai Nurkadilova on the topic: «How to start a business without money».

Designer, artist, stylist, head of the own fashion house «KURALAI», Kuralai Nurkadilova is a regular participant of Kazakhstan Fashion Week. She began her creative career in 1990 as an assistant director of the world-famous competition of young performers «Asia Dausy» (Almaty). She received her first experience in creating a collection of clothes in 1992, after graduating from the art-graphic faculty of Almaty State University, on the basis of «Symbat» Fashion House, where during the year she worked as an artist-designer of the author`s department.

The main purpose of the meeting was to renew ties with graduates, show students their achievements, and also importantly, that graduates can share their thoughts and experiences in realizing the subtleties of their profession.

If once the concept of «designer» was limited to the value of «clothing», today, representatives of design art are involved in almost any field.

The designer is a difficult, responsible profession, in which Kuralai showed herself well and continues to work successfully, because she has mastered the theory well, and has good practical skills.

First Vice-Rector of the University Maktagali Bektemesov, noting the importance of this meeting, thanked the university graduate Kuralay Nurkadilova and presented her with a medal issued for the 90th anniversary of the university.

The meeting went great. Students learned a lot of interesting, new and useful. Between a successful businesswoman and students there was a free discussion about how to start the future without fear of life difficulties.
