Meeting with the poet Zhursin Yerman

On April 9, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, a meeting was held with a university graduate, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet Zhursin Yerman. The meeting was organized by the University Alumni Association and the Orazali Dosbosynov Center of Young Poets.

The event was opened by vice-rector for educational work Zhanatbek Ishbekbaev. Zhanatbek Ishbekbaev stressed the importance of the event held as part of the Year of Youth, and noted that such meetings with respected people are organized to support talented young people, to promote creative thinking, patriotic education, to promote their civic aspects and creativity.

Zhursin Yerman said that at present he is pleased with the high level of aytys, that he is delighted with the fact that the number of young people who praise our national art is growing, and shared his interesting moments in life, in his student years. Zhursin Yerman presented his five-volume collection of works to the Orazaly Dosbosynov Center of Young Poets and answered students` questions.

During the event, the famous poet Serik Kaliyev performed Zhursyn Yerman`s Tolgau «House of Kasim», akyns of the Orazaly Dosbosynova Young Poets Center, Almakhan Aksunkar, Zhenishkhan Kazybek, gave fragments from ayts, read poems dedicated to the guest. Bolatbek Nurbatyrov, executive director of the Alumni Association, presented Zhursin Erman with a badge «90th anniversary of the university».

At the end of the event, Zhursin Yerman expressed gratitude and blessed the university youth.
