Meeting with war and labor veterans

On May 4, a meeting was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with war and labor veterans in honor of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Opening the event, the First Vice-Rector of the University Maktagali Bektemesov spoke about the exploits of Kazakhstanis, including teachers and students of the first university of the country - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, during the war years, about their work in the rear, and presented money gifts to war and labor veterans on behalf of rector of the university.

The honored guests of our university, in turn, thanked the leadership of the institution, which annually holds such events on Victory Day.

At the meeting, a table for veterans and a special concert program were organized and patriotic songs of talented youth of the university were performed.
