The problematic issues of the quality of scientific publications and the professional activities of teachers,
the ways of their solutions

On June 11, 2019 two sessions of the Summer School took place.

First session. The director of the department of science of Abai KazNPU, Sayabek Sakhiyev, held a seminar on the topic «Problematic issues of the quality of scientific publications and the ways of their solutions». More than 90 doctoral students and their supervisors took part in the session. Doctoral students were acquainted with the requirements for scientific publications, the conditions of their placement in the media included in the list of Kazakhstan and foreign publications. There was an exchange of views on the work of the Department with doctoral students and interaction with supervisors. The seminar allowed doctoral students to update their knowledge on the design of theses and their preparation for the defense.

Session 2. At the invitation of the organizers of the Summer School, Svetlana Islamgulova, a professor at the Turan University, conducted the seminar. The master class was devoted to the actual problem of the professional activities of teachers: «Modern approaches to the conduct of seminars». The issues of changing the role of the teacher in the modern paradigm of education were considered; purpose, types and forms of seminars from practical experience. The professor demonstrated the materials of the creative laboratory on the design of the educational process, the system of evaluation of seminars. The students of the master class expressed interest in the presented material and noted its importance for motivating students to productive learning activities and creative independence.
