Meeting with employees of the Almaty Police Department

On September 25, 2019, at the initiative of the Department of Jurisprudence of the Institute of History and Law, a meeting of 1st and 4th year students with employees of the Almaty Police Department was held. The main goal of the event is to determine the significance of the chosen specialty for freshmen, show the ways to solve any emerging criminal, civil, labor problems for future lawyers. For 4th year students, this meeting was useful in terms of employment, in particular, providing service in the ranks of the police.

Police officers emphasized that the police service is a special form of government activity that is responsible for the rule of law and ensuring public safety. Information was also provided on the recruitment of citizens to the police who have higher education, underwent military service or retraining, and undergo military training in specialized institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Currently, the Almaty Police Department announces the hiring of investigators, operatives, district inspectors, police inspectors, which graduates of the specialty «Jurisprudence» can apply for.
