City competition «Adal Ustaz - 2019»
On September 25-26, 2019, according to the annual tradition and the linear schedule of events, the Department of Education of the city of Almaty held the city competition of teachers «Adal Ustaz» in the Schoolchildren`s Palace.
This year it was held within the framework of the project «Seven Facets of the Great Steppe» and the instructions given in the program article of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev «Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity».
The competition was attended by employees of the Department of Education of the city of Almaty, The department of the National Bureau of Anti-Corruption in the Almaty, the city scientific and methodological center of new technologies in education, the teaching staff of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, teachers and students of educational institutions, in total, more than 700 people attended the event.
The jury of the competition «Adal Ustaz» consisted of the director of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU, professor B. Zhumagulov, deputy director for scientific work and international cooperation M. Muratkazin. Associate professors of the Department of Jurisprudence G. Meirbekova and N. Kalkaev contributed to this event.
The purpose of this competition is to increase the status of a teacher, to evaluate the effectiveness of the work of teachers and educational organizations to reduce corruption risks. On the 1st day of the competition, teachers had to write an essay on the topic «Zamanauy pedagog tulgası. Adal Ustaz». In addition, the contestants underwent testing according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Combating Corruption», tested their skills in the fight against corruption by completing open test tasks. On the second day of the competition, participants made a presentation on the results and actions to reduce corruption risks in their educational organizations.
Following the results of the competition, the following teachers became winners:
I place - Samsalieva S.S. (№175 G);
II place - Үsein E. (№198 SS) andSundetov N. (№188 SG);
III place - Akzholov А. (№172 G), Tuktibaeva А. (№69 SS), Toleugali K. (№148 SG).
Director of the Institute of History and Law B. Zhumagulov, speaking at the final stage of the competition, noted that this event is a huge asset in assessing work, as well as in analyzing the human qualities of teaching staff. Moreover, Professor B. Zhumagulov presented information about the specialties of our university for schoolchildren.
