Republican open lesson «Modern Kazakhstan. Leadership Lessons of Elbasy»
In honor of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 29, 2019 at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the Republican open lesson «Modern Kazakhstan. Leadership Lessons of Elbasy».
The event was attended by Rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbaуev, deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dinar Nuketaeva, leading researcher at the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, professor Gaziz Telebaev, heads of institutes and students of the university. The guests visited the museum of our university and the exhibition «Alem tanygan Elbasy».
The event began with the presentation of a documentary film (Kazakhstan-Japan: Path to a Nuclear-Weapon-Free World), which was launched within the framework of the famous science-exhibition project of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev. The film is dedicated to the contribution and various aspects of the activities of Elbasy in the development of the global movement for a nuclear-free world, the most important initiatives of our country, voiced from the highest stands. The film also tells about the joint efforts of Kazakhstan and Japan in informing the international community about the destructive consequences of nuclear weapons for the whole world. The task of the documentary is to let the next generation know about the tragedy that the peoples of our two countries experienced - the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 and the forty-year-long tests at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site. For our youth to appreciate the peace and independence of Kazakhstan.
Rector Takir Balykbayev opened the event. He congratulated all participants of the meeting on the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted the historical merits of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, under the visionary leadership of which our state has achieved significant success both in socio-economic development and in strengthening its position in the international arena.
«The first President of Kazakhstan is rightly recognized by the world community as the leader of the global anti-nuclear movement. And this is confirmed by the rewarding of Nursultan Nazarbayev in different years for his outstanding contribution to the cause of nuclear disarmament with the highest state award of Japan»,-said the rector.
Deputy Dinar Nuketaeva and Professor Gaziz Telebaev delivered an open lecture to students.
Dinar Nuketaeva noted the importance of the First President`s Day, the role of the Head of State N. Nazarbayev in the establishment of independence of the country, his authority in world politics.
Gaziz Telebaev acquainted the listeners in detail with the activities of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, and spoke about the materials collected in its collections.
Lecturers expressed their opinion on the history of the formation of Kazakhstan as an independent state, the historical role of N.A. Nazarbayev, and also drew attention to the role of students in the future of a sovereign country. Comprehensive answers were given to all questions of the participants.
A student of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, Dilnaz Yusupova, spoke on behalf of the youth. She thanked the organizers of this interesting event. Members of the Student Assembly «Birlik» performed the song «Elim Menіn».
