International scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of academician Orazbayeva F.Sh.

On November 29, 2019, the international scientific and practical conference «Communicative linguistics and word formation» was held, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Professor of Abai KazNPU, corresponding member of NAS of RK, laureate of the Sh. Ualikhanov prize of I degree, academician of the International Academy of pedagogical Sciences, examiner in the state language of candidates for the President of RK and a member of the linguistic commission Orazbayeva Fauzia Shamsievna.

At Abai KazNPU in the framework of the celebration of the anniversary of Professor Fauzia Shamsievna Orazbayeva, various events were organized.

So, a republican competition of panoramic lessons was held among teachers of secondary schools in the Kazakh language (Kazakh and foreign language schools) on the topic: «Mastering conversational activity at the junction of modern paradigms and innovative technologies». About 20 applications were received from the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The 10 best panoramic lessons were selected in accordance with the requirements of the competition. A specially created jury determined the results of the competition. The winners of I, II, III places were awarded diplomas and cash prizes.

From 25 to 28 November 2019, at Abai KazNPU in the framework of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Professor Fauzia Shamsievna passed «Orazbayeva week». As part of this action, students of the «school of F. Orazbayeva» held system master classes on «Professor Fauzia Orazbayeva: 4K model in the formation of personality».

Master classes were held on the following topics: «Interpretative analysis-an indicator of the implementation of the 4K model», «Ways of combining linguistics and critical thinking», «Ways to integrate linguistics and critical thinking», «Ways of applying the 4K model in the works of Professor F. Sh. Orazbayeva», «Effective ways of writing essays», «Ways of preparing tasks for activities of speech in teaching languages», «Methods of forming writing skills of students in small scientific genres», «Creative ways of teaching literary works».

These events were attended by the teaching staff of Almaty universities, school teachers, applicants, doctoral students, undergraduates and students. On November 28, at the closing ceremony of the week for participation in the 72-hour master class, the listeners were awarded a certificate of Abai KazNPU.

Scientific articles collected on the 70th anniversary of the scientist F.Sh. Orazbaeva are published in a two-volume collection. Articles of the conference participants were published for free.
