31.08.2021 «Digital Teacher» summer online school was productive
The welcoming speech was made by Darhan Bilyalov, Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University, who shared his foreign experience in the field of digital literacy and distance learning.
During the theoretical sessions, the following issues were studied: how to develop curricula based on pedagogical design, examples of developing several models of online lessons: online lectures, offline lectures, «flipped classroom», teaching methods, types of selection, monitoring and evaluation of digital resources, interactive tasks. In addition, many online platforms were used: in particular, to organize group work - MS Teams, Oqylyq; to organize video uploading and transmission - YouTube; to organize and evaluate control - Wordwall, mentimeter, Google it; to conduct educational interactive works, online virtual laboratories were presented, which allow conducting experiments both in three-dimensional and two-dimensional space: VirtualLab, Merlot. Also during the practical work, special attention was paid to the study of different interactive learning tools, creating rubrics for shaping and assessing learning outcomes based on a digital footprint, through which information is accumulated and qualifications on how it can be linked to learning outcomes are formed. The usefulness of the summer school was that it aimed at results from the very beginning. For the practical work 15 groups were formed from all participants of the summer school, each group had 12 people, each group was assigned a mentor who provided support, supervision and evaluation of the use of digital resources from the very beginning through individual work with each teacher.
In order to consolidate the practical skills in the group work, team presentations were developed on the topic «My best digital training session on the MS Teams platform»: «Alemdik ruhaniyattagy Abay men Shakespeare», «Historical formation of the Russian language vocabulary», «Physica pannin online okitudin zhana modeli», «Analysis of cations in biological objects», «My best digital learning experience on the platform - an essay», «Digital resources», «Pedagogical rhetoric in the classroom», «The complex», «September 1 - the Day of Knowledge», «Purpose and relevance of the subject of national education», «The book of ideas», «Use of interactive exercises in Russian literature classes», «Soylemnin turlauly muleshleri», «Osimdikterdegi Macro-, microelement», «Organization of pedagogical practice in the conditions of distance learning».
As a result of projects assessment in the person of pro-rector on academic affairs Maktagali Bektemesov, chairman and other members of the committee, each group was awarded the nomination according to specificity of team work: «Generator of ideas», «Digital mentor», «Digital adviser», «Digital methodologist» and others.
In order to effectively organize the learning process remotely in a digital format, the Testing Centre under the leadership of Daraja Isabayeva will continue training in the summer online school «Digital Teacher» for the teaching staff of Abai KazNPU.
