announces a competition for vacant positions of teaching staff in 2021/2022 academic year

 

 

Vacant positions

 

Basic requirements to the contestants in accordance with the standard qualification characteristics:

- Professor position: higher (postgraduate) education, academic degree, the scientific rank of «professor», academic and pedagogical work experience of not less than 5 years;

- position of Associate Professor/Associate Professor (Associate Professor): higher (postgraduate) education, academic degree of Candidate of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), academic title «Associate Professor»/»Associate Professor (Associate Professor)», scientific and pedagogical work experience not less than 5 years;

- senior lecturer position: higher (postgraduate) education, at least 3 years of scientific and pedagogical work experience or at least 5 years of practical work experience in the specialty and / or the degree of Candidate of Sciences or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD;)

- postgraduate teacher: higher (postgraduate) education, work experience in the specialty of not less than 3 years and / or have a degree of Master of Science.

 

A person applying for the competition shall submit the following documents by the deadline indicated in the competition announcement:

1. Employees of Abai KazNPU:

- Application addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University for participation in the competition;

- Applicant questionnaire (in electronic format);*.

- Decision of departmental meeting;

- The list of scientific works and inventions, certified by the Chief Scientific Secretary (for the last 5 years);

- Certificates of proficiency in foreign languages (if any);

- Copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification (for the last 5 years).

 

2. External candidates:

- Application addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the University for participation in the competition;

- Candidate`s application form (in electronic format);*

- ID card;

- Copies of diplomas of higher education, academic degree, document of academic rank and originals for verification;

- Document confirming the employment activity (for the persons with work experience);

- A personal record sheet;

- Reference on absence of previous convictions;

- Certificate of absence of registration in narcological, psychoneurological and anti-tuberculosis dispensaries;

- Certificates of foreign languages skills (if any);

- Copies of certificates of retraining and advanced training (if any) and originals for verification (for the last 5 years);

- List of scientific works and inventions certified by the Chief Scientific Secretary (for the last 5 years);

- Characteristics from the last place of work;

- Autobiography.

* The requirements for saving an electronic file of the Candidate Questionnaire:
Candidate`s surname_name_Department_An application form (name according to the ID).

Submission of incomplete set of documents in accordance with the list is the basis for rejection of the application in arbitrary form.

 

Teaching load and salary of full-time teaching staff of the university from September 1, 2021 shall be set in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education and Science of RK on March 25, 2021 № 122 «On the definition of the recommended teaching load and the minimum wage teaching staff in the organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan» (https://online.zakon.kz/Document/?doc_id=34291747).

 

Deadline for submission of documents for participation in the competition: up to August 09, 2021 (inclusive).
