Seminars for heads of institutes and structural divisions
On January 5, 2020, the rector of the university, Takir Balykbayev, spoke at the opening of the Winter School «Teacher education in a changing world: new priorities».
At its first session, the director of the «Hakim Abay» Research Center of Abai KazNPU Zhabal Shoyynbet and the professor of the department of preschool education and social pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Islamiya Khalitova held a seminar on the topic «Actual problems of teaching the subject «Abaytanu» in educational organizations».
Deputy directors for educational work of the institute, teachers, doctoral students, undergraduates, attended the event. The director of the Center «Abaitanu», Mekentas Myrzakhmetov, who received the Order «Barys» of I degree in December last year, was an honored guest. The listeners got acquainted with the events held at the university on the eve of the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and enlightener Abay Kunanbayev, with the content of the subject «Abaitanu», emphasized the importance of his teaching in educational organizations. An exchange of views on the topic of the seminar took place.
At the initiative of the organizers of the Winter School, specialists of educational departments of Almaty and Almaty region: Head of the Zhetysu District Education Department Saltanat Kusainova, director of secondary school No. 80 Aykerim Baekenova, director of school-gymnasium No. 148 Aliakbarova Fatima, head of the Talgar district department of education of the Almaty region Karlygash Sadvakasova. Khairulla Zhanbekov, director of the Department of Academic Affairs at Abai KazNPU, organized a discussion on the topic «The state of the labor market of teachers in the field of education».
The seminar was attended by directors of institutes, deputy directors for academic work, heads of departments. During the session, the importance of the adoption of a law on the status of a teacher for the demand for personnel in secondary schools was noted; requirements for the quality of specialists who graduate from universities today were discussed. The issues of changing the role of the teacher in the paradigm of the modern updated content of education were considered. The students noted the relevance of the problems raised for the effective organization of the educational work of university teachers in the preparation of future teachers - graduate students.
