January 20th, 2016 took place a meeting of teachers and students of philological specialties for foreign citizens with representatives of the Association of International Trade of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) and the management of the Almaty branch of the World Association of Kazakhs. The purpose of the meeting - the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of educational and scientific projects, familiarity with foreign guests KazNPU Abai.
Head of the chair  Professor S.B. Begaliyeva informed the guests from China that the chair of Philology specialties for foreign citizens provides training in the following areas:
- Preparatory courses (certificate of state standard);
- Bachelor`s (state diploma);
- Master`s degree (state diploma);
- Preparing to pass the certification exam TORFL (Russian as a foreign language).
Teachers of the chair  T.Zh. Toktarova, T.T. Aytkazina, I.E. Esirkepova told about the learning process, about the ongoing educational activities. The guests saw the classrooms of Kazakh and Russian languages, study "Country Kazakhstan" and a language lab, equipped with an interactive whiteboard. Undergraduate students talked about how they learn and play.
With the response speech made by the head of the association "Nar Zholy" (Association of International Trade in Xinjiang) Isakhan Zharkyn and the head of the Almaty branch of the World Association of Kazakhs Damir Askaraliuly. Guests have supported the idea of ​​further cooperation, we stressed that applicants from China interested in receiving higher education in the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University  and thanked the staff of the chair for the warm welcome.
The meeting ended with a small concert that prepared students of secondary schools in Yining, Karamay, Kunes, Shihui (PRC).
