ІV Republican aitys of young akins «Menin pirim-Suyinbay»

Within the framework of the 175th anniversary of Abai, on February 14-15, 2020, the ІV Republican aitys of young akyn-improvisers «Menin pirim- Suyinbay» took place in Almaty, in which 60 akyn from 25 universities of the country took part. 18 akyns went to the qualifying round.

At the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic, on February 15, the rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbaуev opened the final stage and wished good luck to all participants.

Guests of the event - director of the Institute of Literature and Art named after M. Auezov of the NAS of RK, member of the political council of the Almaty city branch of the Nur Otan party, deputy of the Maslikhat of Almaty Kenzhekhan Matyzhanov and rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenev Akan Abdualiev - noted the importance of this event and thanked its organizers for the preservation of such a creative heritage of the Kazakh people as aitys.

The jury headed by the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the holder of the orders «Parasat» and «Kurmet», the chairman of the board of the public association «International Union of Aitys and Zhyrshy Termeshy» Zhursin Yerman evaluated the work of young akyns. The jury members: the Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the winner of international and republican aitysov Serik Kaliev, a member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, the Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic, the director of the publishing house «Ulagat» of Abai KazNPU Manarbek Izbasar, the head of the Almaty studio of «Kazakh Radiolary» LLP Bakyt Zhagyparuly and the head of the department «Aitys» of KazNAA named after T. Zhurgenev Erkebulan Kainazarov.

According to the results of Aitys, Sauytbek Rasul, a student from Kainar University, took the III place and a certificate for 100,000 KZT. II place - Aibyn Zhamali, a student of KazNPU named after Abai, with a certificate of 150,000 KZT. A student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Nurbol Zhaubay took the first place. He was awarded a certificate worth 200,000 KZT. KazNAA student Niyazbekov Ayan won the Grand Prix. He was awarded a certificate worth 350,000 KZT. All winners were awarded special diplomas on behalf of the Rector. In addition, 12 participants were awarded special nominations on behalf of the university and awarded certificates in the amount of 50,000 KZT.

A student of the Karaganda State Technical University, the Council of Torekhan was awarded a special prize of the Almaty city branch of the Nur Otan party, a student of the Aktobe regional state university named after K. Zhubanov Koshkinbai Aibolat received a special prize named after Sabit Mukanov from the School of Young Akyns named after Eric Askarov.
All the young akyns participating in the contest expressed gratitude to the university administration and the organizers of the event.
