Charity event «Ardagerlerimizdy Ardaktaik»

On May 6, 2020, on the initiative of the Rector of Abai KazNPU Takir Balykbayev, in the framework of the action «Our Victory!» was held a city charity event «Ardagerlerimizdy ardaktaik!» dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The event began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial plaque of the Hero of the Soviet Union, former rector of the Abai State Pedagogical Institute (1951-1963), academician Malik Gabdullin.

Then Takir Balykbayev congratulated the veterans of the University, among whom were participants of the Great Patriotic War, workers of the rear, Afghan soldiers and «soldiers of special risk». The rector said 38 veterans will be provided with material assistance worth 2,670,000 tenge, and food baskets will be delivered to each of them.

In turn, chairman of the Council of Veterans of Abai KazNPU Zhumadil Shildebayev on behalf of the event participants expressed gratitude to the university leadership for the assistance and attention.

At the end of the official part of the action Rector of the University thanked representatives of the Council of Veterans, the Department of Educational Work, the trade union of employees, volunteers of the project «Aaccelerator of goodness» and members of the Youth Committee for the organization and active participation in this event.

The charitable action will last two days. During this event, the volunteers will congratulate and pay personal attention to each veteran.

The action, organized in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, will undoubtedly contribute to increasing interest in the history of the country and create a sense of patriotism among young people.
