An online seminar, dedicated to the Day of State Symbols

 

On June 4, 2020, the Department for Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy held an online seminar dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of RK «Memlekettik ramizder - ult tiregy».

 

The seminar began with the performance of the State Anthem of the country and video-congratulations of students-fighters of the labor detachment «Zhasyl el», shot by the television studio «Abai».

 

The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Development Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, congratulating all those present on the Day of state symbols embodying the sovereignty of our state. He noted June 4, 1992 is a significant day in the history of the country, in the language of symbols the silhouette of the eagle means the policy of the country, its breadth and foresight, our state symbols are becoming more recognizable in the world every year, the authority of our republic in the international arena is growing. The state symbolism is an integral attribute of independent Kazakhstan.


The head of sub department of political science and social-philosophical disciplines Zhomart Simtikov made a report «Political aspect of state symbols in formation of historical consciousness» and told about their political significance.


Also the professor of the chair of «Jurisprudence» Gulzhazira Meyrbekova acquainted with the history of implementation of state symbols.


During the seminar, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Berikzhan Almukhambetov noted the historical events in the adoption of state symbols, called on youth to respect our statehood, country and our symbols.

 

Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Institute of Natural History and Geography Nurlan Manapov suggested starting daily morning classes with the anthem to increase the sense of patriotism among youth.


First-year student of the Institute of Philology and multilingual Education Dana Bildebayeva, who spoke on behalf of youth, expressed pride of her homeland, history and state symbols.

 

At the end of the event, the youth attending the seminar were asked questions-quizzes on state symbols, and winners who answered the questions correctly received special prizes.
