Graduate Diploma Awarding Ceremony «Abai University graduation» online

 

On June 10-15, 2020 an online diploma awarding ceremony for Bachelor`s and Master`s graduates was held.

 

Rector of the University Takir Balykbayev solemnly congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future life.


Guests of the event: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Kazakhstan Philippe Martinet, Deputy Executive Director of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Rogov, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, famous public figure, poet Nurlan Orazalin, Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Ayagul Mirazova, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, academician Marat Nisupov, Honoured Artist of the RK, holder of the orders «Parasat» and «Kurmet», producer, singer Maira Ilyasova, director of the French Institute for Central Asian Studies, professor INALCO Catherine Pujol, holder of the orders «Parasat» and «Kurmet», Honoured Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Chair of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Teaching Methods, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Academician Alma Abylkasymova, director of the Center for Psychological Support of University Development, doctor of Psychology, academician Zhamilya Namazbayeva, winner of the International Literary Prize «Alash», holder of «Parasat» and «Kurmet» orders, president of «Kazakh uny» Isa Kazybek - congratulated the graduates and wished them a good way in life.

 

This year 1236 bachelors, 605 masters, 117 doctors, a total of 1958 graduates graduated from the university. 220 of them graduated with honors.


At the end of the event, the vice-rectors of Abai KazNPU and directors of institutes congratulated the graduates.


The ceremony of awarding diplomas was held for the first time in a new format, online. The ceremony was held on YouTube channel.
