Online round table "Constitution is the basis of development of society and state"

On August 27, 2020, an online round table on "Constitution - the basis of development of society and state" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held.

The event was opened by the Vice-rector for Educational Work and Social Development Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, who told about the main aspects of the Constitution and congratulated all participants on Constitution Day.

The round table was attended by the Director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor Adil Zhunusov, Doctor of Law, Professor Bakhytzhan Toleubekova, Head of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines Zhomart Simtikov, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law Kadir Nurgalym.

Participants of the round table talked about the history of the Constitution of our country and its multifaceted role and significance in the life of modern Kazakh society, in ensuring the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, creating a democratic, legal and social state.

The round table topic was actively discussed, and participants exchanged opinions.

The round table was organized on the initiative of the Department for Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy.
