The project of tourist-recreational landscape park "Turgen" proposed by young researchers-geographers  Aliaskarov D.T. and Iskakova R.T. of the Institute natural science and geography of Abai KazNPU  under the leadership professor K.D.Kaymuldinova at the contest «The Quarry Life Award in Kazakhstan", conducted by the company HEIDELBERGCEMENT (Germany) entered in the TOP5 and allowed to participate in the final of the competition. National jury of the contest highlighted the importance of the ideas of researchers  on biodiversity conservation in the territory of Almaty region.
