Representative scientific forum brought scientists from different countries together


In accordance with the calendar plan of the scientific project "Competence and communicative model of language training of future subject teachers in multilingual educational conditions of Kazakhstan" for a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2018 - 2020), on 2nd October of 2020 year the International Scientific and Methodological Conference " Competence and communicative foundations of language training of future subject teachers in a multilingual educational space" was held.


The organizers of the event were the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of Abai KazNPU, as well as the Eurasian Research Institute at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after H.A Yasawi.


The project manager, Doctor of Pedagogical sciences, Professor of Abai KazNPU Rosalinda Shakhanova, opened the conference. She congratulated the participants on the opening and outlined the directions of work.


The vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Aktolkyn Kulsarieva. She emphasized the importance of linguistic education, wished productive work to the conference participants, expressed gratitude to its organizers.


The head of the Russian Language and Literature Department, Saule Abisheva, also welcomed the event participants. She noted the importance of the conference being held which along with topical scientific and methodological issues, also considers the theme of Abay`s creativity the role of his spiritual heritage in the upbringing of student youth which in general finds consonance with his 175th anniversary.


The conference was moderated by the project co-director, Doctor of Pedagogical sciences, Professor Gulmira Kazhigalieva.


The scientists from Kazakhstan, Moldova, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Ukraine made reports at the online conference. Their reports were distinguished by the undoubted depth of theoretical analysis and high practical relevance of the problems under consideration.


During the preparation of this event more than 130 applications for participation were received, 113 reports of which passed through the competitive selection and review and were approved by the Organizing Committee. The prepared collection of conference materials demonstrates the wide geography of the forum participants: they represent 13 countries and 13 regions of Kazakhstan.


The participants of the online conference noted the importance of this forum which contributes to the establishment of a dialogue between the scientific communities of countries, the importance and relevance of the scientific and methodological problems raised there, expressed gratitude to the organizing committee of the conference.
