Іn honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a solemn event »Tugrybiik - Tauelsizdik» was held.

Rector of the University Takir Balykbayev congratulated the participants on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and held an award ceremony for the best teachers and employees, where the work of the best teachers and professors was appreciated and awarded at its true worth. I would especially like to note that on the eve of the Independence Day of the country by the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan a large group of citizens was awarded state awards for significant contribution to the socio-economic and cultural development of the country, strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples, active public activities, including leading scientists of our university. The head of the scientific and methodological center «Geography and Ecology», academician Beisenova Aliya, was awarded the Barys Order of the II degree. Orazbayeva Fauzia, head of the scientific and practical center «Latin alphabet» was awarded the order «Parasat».

During the event, 70 teachers and staff were awarded online and 13 offline for significant achievements in teaching and educating the young generation, as well as for their contribution to the training of professionals.
