Meeting with the Chairman of YW «Jas Otan»

On March 11, 2021 Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev, the Chairman of YW «Jas Otan» visited Abai KazNPU, where he met with the leadership and active students of our university within the framework of his working visit to Almaty.

Rector Takir Balykbayev talked about the main provisions of the Development Strategy of the University in 2020-2025, and discussed with the guest plans for the implementation of the election program of the party «Nur Otan» until 2025, «The path of change: a dignified life for everyone! In addition, the construction of a new dormitory for students was touched upon. The leader of the Jas Otan noted that the issue of construction of the dormitory is under the control of the «Nur Otan» Party and its youth wing.

Then Zhanatbek Ishpekbaev, Vice-rector for Educational Work and Social Development gave an introductory tour and spoke about the history and traditions of the university, as well as shared information on educational work with youth and development of youth policy.

At the end of his working visit, Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev had an informal meeting with students, during which they had the opportunity to ask the guest their most interesting questions.
