The international seminar discussed academic writing and its specificities


In order to ensure the competent writing of scientific papers and familiarization with the structure of the academic text, on the eve of the transition to the Latin alphabet, on March 29, 2021, at 16.00, the association «Tiltumar» at the scientific and practical center «Latyn» held an online seminar of an international level on the topic «Academic writing and its specifics».


At present, the requirements for research work are increasing, and the importance of mastering writing skills in a scientific direction is increasing. In this regard, the implementation of scientific articles and research at the international level requires special attention to the activities of the letter.

 

During the online seminar, reports were heard on the following topics: «The specifics of writing a section of a literary review in scientific works» - PhD doctoral student of the University of Aberdeen in Scotland Gulshat Tusip; «Methods of publishing articles in foreign scientific journals with a high rating»-PhD doctoral student of the Henley Business School of the University of Reading in England Natalia Radko; «Research methods in education» - PhD doctoral student of the University of Warwick in England Mukhtarova Anar, «Methods of publishing articles in foreign scientific journals with a high rating» - PhD Doctor of the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University Bekarys Nuriman,» Features of the structure of the academic text» - graduate of Abai KazNPU, Edilbay Ospan.

 

There was also a presentation of the textbook of Edilbay Ospan «Fundamentals of academic writing». During the presentation of the textbook, Elmira Idrisova, PhD, Associate Professor Kelesbayev Dinmukhammad, teacher of the Kazakh language and literature Abitova Zhanar expressed their opinion.

 

The online workshop was attended by more than 100 participants. Among them are foreign guests, school teachers, representatives of institutes for improving education, university teachers, undergraduates and doctoral students.
