The emotional intelligence of the teacher: a practical aspect

On March 29, 2021, the department of disciplines of pedagogical cycle of Abai KazNPU (department of pedagogy) held a university-wide scientific-methodological online seminar «Emotional intelligence of the teacher: a practical aspect.

Speaker Ph.D. Byrdina Zukhra presented to the participants valuable ideas, interesting techniques and techniques for regulating emotional intelligence such as: «Map of emotions», «Emotional thermometer», «Square of moods», «Emotional dictionary», «Association of emotional state with color», etc.

During the discussion, the main emphasis was placed on such components of emotional intelligence as the ability to understand one`s own and other people`s emotions, the ability to manage one`s own and other people`s emotions, and positive thinking.

The seminar was attended by participants from schools in Nur-Sultan, IDQ Kostanay region, Semey, and teaching staff of the Department of pedagogical disciplines of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, department of EP «Social Sciences», Institute of History and Law, Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, and students of 3-4 courses.
