Online round table dedicated to the 175th anniversary
of Zhambyl Zhabayev «Zhuz zhasagan baiterek»

On April 8, 2021, within the framework of the Decade of Science, an online round table dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev «Zhuz zhasagan baiterek» was held, organized by the head of the department of general history of the Institute of History and Law, Asymova Dariya and teacher Duysenbaykyzy Aitolkyn.

The teaching staff and students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the department attended the event. Professor Nurmanbetkyzy Zhumakhan spoke about the life and memories of Zhambyl Zhabayev, and Professor Suteeva Khanzada shared materials on the study of Zh.Zhabayev in Soviet historiography. Honorary Lecturer of the Department, Professor Zhumagulov Bolat noted the poet`s work during the Great Patriotic War and his contribution to encouraging soldiers.

Young teachers of the department Kasymov Madiyar and Mamyrbaev Didar told about the «Example of Zhambyl» for youth. 3rd year students of the specialty «History-Religious Studies» took an active part in the event and read excerpts from the poet`s poems. Questions were asked and rational answers were received. The event was held at a high level.
