Participants of the «Pedagogical retraining» course were awarded with certificates

In order to implement the Law of RK «On the status of the teacher» Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University opened the course «Retraining of teachers». It aims to eliminate the shortage of the profession`s representatives in the country and prepare quality professionals. The 1st and 2nd phases of the course have already been completed, and the students were awarded the certificates on August 13, 2021.

During the sessions, teachers learn new concepts and skills needed to implement the program, using different methods, new learning processes. In particular, they are introduced to a renewed educational structure, pedagogical approaches and a system of criterion-based assessment. Through the use of effective strategies, teachers carry out assignments on different topics.

Today, the new model for teacher education sets new requirements as a next step towards an international level. In this context, course participants are made aware of the essence of the new changes, which will be useful in their future practice.

This means a new attitude towards the learner, a supportive environment and a constant focus on the development of each child`s natural abilities, as well as a new perspective on the teacher`s place and role in the learning process.
