Excursion for students «World of civilizations»

On November 20, 2021, the Center «Rukhani zhangyru» and the Institute of history and law organized an educational tour of the archaeological complex of boraldai saka mounds «World of civilizations» for students of Abai KazNPU institutes.

The tour to the open - air archaeological site was carried out within the framework of the project «Sacred Geography of Kazakhstan» of the state program of Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev «Rukhani zhangyru-looking into the future» with the support of the association of museums of the city of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Almaty.

The purpose of the expedition is to consolidate spiritual knowledge and educate the younger generation about historical and holy places, adapt students to specialization skills, popularize the region and its attractions.

Boraldai saka mounds are one of the 6 state-protected monuments in Almaty, included in the national list of sacred objects. The burial ground is 3 kilometers long and up to 800 meters wide, the area of the historical and cultural object is 400 hectares.

In order to look deep into the only monument preserved on the territory of Almaty from the early Iron Age, students of five institutes of KazNPU named after Abai were able to get acquainted with a unique story telling about the life of our ancestors.
