08.12.2021 City round table «30 years of Independence of Kazakhstan: the importance of strengthening interethnic tolerance and prospects of identity»
On December 8, 2021, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a city round table was held on the topic «30 years of Independence of Kazakhstan: the importance of strengthening interethnic tolerance and prospects for identity», organized by the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy of the Abai KazNPU.
The Rector of the University Bilyalov Darkhan made a welcoming speech. The moderator of the round table, Vice-Rector for Social Development Nurlanov Shyngys, in turn, having outlined a small thesis about the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, conveyed his words to the following guests and professors. Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Almaty Korean National Center-Kang Georgy Vasilyevich, member of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Deputy head of the Turkish ethno-cultural association «Ahiska» - Kasimov Kazakhbay, member of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Association of Greek Societies of Kazakhstan «Filia - Georgiy Iordanidi, member of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Uygur Ethnocultural Center, editor-in-chief of the republican newspaper «Uygur Avazi» Asmatov Ershat, Head of the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law, Professor Zhomart Simtikov and Advisor to the Rector of the Abai KazNPU Ishpekbayev Zhanatbek. The results of the report were summed up by the deputy chairman of the student assembly «Unity», a 1st-year student of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Tatiana Marchenko.
At the end of the round table, Vice-Rector for Social Development Nurlanov Chingiz Nurlanovich once again congratulated on the 30th anniversary of Independence of our country and presented souvenirs from Abai University to the honored guests who took part in the round table within the framework of this holiday.
