Visit of foreign delegation

On October 6, 2022 a delegation from Friedrich-Alexander Erlangen-Nuremberg University (FAU) and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) arrived at Abai University as part of the international project «Pedagogical Professionalism and Internationalization - Dialogue with the Post-Soviet Islamic Education Space» which has been implemented between the three universities since 2021.

The welcome meeting and acquaintance with the university was held by Madina Moldagali, a doctoral student of the department of Russian language and literature of the Institute of Philology of Abai University. She acquainted the project participants with the program of the visit, the goals and objectives of the upcoming conference, told about the city and the university. During the presentation the guests were presented with gift bags from Abai University.

PhD doctor Saya Baysultanova held a workshop on the topic of «Intercultural peculiarities» where the project participants got acquainted with the national peculiarities of the kazakh people.

In a workshop on the topic of «Dual training as factor in improving the preparation of a future teacher» professor Ulzharkyn Abdigapbarova outlined the aims and objectives of dual-oriented training as well as the steps taken to put them into practice at Abai University. At the end of the event, there was a group work where representatives of the universities discussed the preparation of future teachers in their countries and universities.

At the end of the first day the project participants from our university 4th year students Laura Nurtayeva and Arailym Dusipkyzy conducted for guests a tour of the university, the main building, the Abai Museum and the university library.
