Three-day seminar on the topic "The path to successful publishing with Scopus tools"

The Department of Science of Abai univercity is holding a three-day seminar on the topic "The path to successful publishing with Scopus tools", which started today on September 11 and will continue until September 13, 2023. The speaker of the seminar is Rabiga Khozhamkul, MD, MPH, Elsevier Consultant for Central Asia and Azerbaijan.

The topic of the first day of the workshop is "Selecting a hot topic using Scopus", where participants will discuss the following questions: How to choose a relevant topic in your research area to increase the visibility of your article using Scopus? Article metrics and analytical tools in Scopus to determine the popularity of an article; Research on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with Elsevier tools; Scopus tools for finding research in the field of SDG; ScienceDirect tools for learning about SDG research; Elsevier and RELX tools for analyzing SDG research.

The topic of the second day of the seminar is "Scopus - search for a collaboration and co-leaders", issues such as Tools for finding collaboration in Scopus will be discussed; Tools and methods for searching for foreign managers on your research topic.

The topic of the third day of the workshop is "Scopus - search for a journal to publish", where participants will discuss the following topics: Scopus tools for identifying a suitable journal; Journal metrics in Scopus: CiteScore percentiles; How to publish "for free"?

At the end of the seminar all participants will receive electronic certificates.
