Student research club «Biology»


In the group of the educational program «Biology» of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, there is a student research club «Biology». The leaders are Associate Professor Amanbayeva Mahabbat and teacher Zharylkasynova Zhazira.


This club is intended for students interested in research work. Its goal is to develop students` abilities to set and achieve goals, the formation of creative qualities, tolerance, criticality, their own opinion, and communicative qualities. The relevance of its work lies in the fact that the knowledge and skills necessary for the organization of educational and research activities can serve as the basis for the implementation of scientific and educational projects in the future. Therefore, the activity of the club is aimed at promoting the further development of biological science in the country and in the world.

 

Tasks:
Assistance in attracting students to research work, choosing a scientific direction, holding scientific meetings, hearing and discussing reports on them, participating in student and other conferences;
Assistance in improving the level of scientific training of students in the field of biological science;
Improving the quality of professional training of young specialists;
Creating conditions for the formation of creative activity;
To help students in independent scientific research and develop their ability to organize scientific work;
Timely informing students about the possibility of participating in planned scientific conferences, competitions, exhibitions, etc.;
Research topics of the department, interdepartmental association, including conducting scientific and practical research and scientific and practical activities on contractual research.

 

Expected results:
Students, under the guidance of teachers of the department, learn to work with scientific literature, independently analyze and summarize scientific works, acquire skills in conducting laboratory experiments. Students can participate in student conferences with the results of practical research, make presentations and publish them in scientific publications.

 

To achieve these goals, the Biology EP Group plans to constantly monitor the latest world scientific discoveries of modern biology and implement them, contributing to their reflection in students` research projects.
