«There is a good person next to you»
On February 22, a scientific seminar entitled «Galym minberi» was held, dedicated to the literary work of the literary scholar, writer, playwright, translator Serik Asylbekovich, organized by the Department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabaev. Opening the scientific seminar, the moderator, the head of the Department, doctor of philology sciences, Professor Kalbike Esenova said:
«As you know, Abai Kazakh national pedagogical University is one of the leading Universities of independent Kazakhstan. It is known thatmany famous Kazakh scientists worked in this sacred Kara Shanyrak, starting with the figures of Alash. Many people who continue their enlightenment activities follow their uneasy path «going slowly, but surely» «do not face from teaching».
Respecting the nearby good person, citing him as an example to the future generation, the teachers of the department and applicants following the scientific path, set a goal to know and promote the creative, pedagogical, and scientific activities of Serik Asylbekovich, in addition, mentioned the fact that today in the preservation of genuine national heritage and culture, spiritual values, without losing their features in the process of globalization, in bringing our national values to the younger generation, a special place belongs to a person who owns creativity, who knows how to use a pen as a weapon, to reveal the problems occurring in society, as well as an example, to bring important events to the people.
During the scientific seminar, a slide was shown on the life, teaching and creativity of the writer, who expanded horizons, enriched the spiritual inner world of his readers. Candidate of pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor, literary critic Alpysbay Tamayev made a report on the work of the protagonist of the spiritual meeting Serik Asylbekovich, giving him an assessment as a humane person, and analyzed his literary works from the point of view of art.
Colleagues, doctoral students and undergraduates who love his art listened to the words of the scientist-teacher who spoke with great enthusiasm about his arrival in literature, asked a number of questions about the artistic search in the work of the writer, the public duty of literature, literary management, modern Kazakh schools and the quality of their education, reforms in the system of General education, and also expressed their warm wishes and gratitude. Summing up the meeting, Professor Kalbike Esenova expressed confidence that such a good initiative as respect for talented individuals, learning from experience will continue in the future.
