Seminar «Child development Crises»

 

On February 21, 2020, professor of the Department of preschool education and social pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Bekmagambetova Roza held an open seminar on the topic «Child development Crises» for 2nd year students of the specialty «5B010100-Preschool education and upbringing» which was attended by teachers the Department of early childhood education and social pedagogy of ass.professor Ulbosyn Kyakbaeva, (PhD) Suranchieva Mirash, Nurgaliyev Dolores, (PhD) Bulshekbaeva Asem, undergraduate Iniyativa Aidana.


The purpose of this event: to identify the importance of crises in the development of the child and to reveal effective ways to overcome it.


During the lesson, the students profoundly revealed the essence of the following crises:
- the crisis of the newborn,
- crisis of the first year of a child`s life,
- crisis of three years,
- crisis of 6-7 years.


they also identified signs of crises, symptoms of crises, neoplasms in each critical period, signs of the end of crises, showed the role of adults in overcoming crises, focused on the harmful impact of crises in child development in cases of ignoring them, found similarities and differences in child development crises, and showed the importance of crises in child development.


The following organizational forms of training were used in the lesson: individual, pair and group work, a set of methods and techniques of training using audio-visual tools and modern information and computer technologies were applied.


During the lesson, students successfully solved pedagogical situations, used brainstorming, «Fishbone», and developed recommendations for parents to overcome child development crises.


The results of the lesson show that the goal was achieved, all participants were active, a democratic style of work was applied, giving each student the opportunity to show creativity.
