Round table «The practice of universal values in my life»

On October 19, 2022, a round table «The practice of universal values in my life» was held on the moral and spiritual directions of the Meirim club under the leadership of Ph.D., associate Professor Shirinbayeva G.K. and supervisor Kultaeva Zh.K. a round table «The practice of universal values in my life».

The event was held with the participation of 3rd-year volunteer students in the specialty «6B01801-Social pedagogy and self-knowledge» and student youth Kairbek E., Alibek G., Ermen B., Mynatai A., Shorat A., Esaly E. who have experience of volunteer work in the field of the issues discussed.

The traditional business discussion of the round table was implemented in the form of a discussion-dialogue of participants. In order to achieve a positive result and create a business atmosphere of understanding and support, a set of trainings on the communication skills of volunteers was conducted.

Of great importance was the general emotional atmosphere in the group, which allowed to evoke a sense of inner unity. In the training aimed at forming a team, various imitation and role-playing games were used. Conducting a group training using this method allowed the participants to draw constructive conclusions that have cognitive and practical significance. To get feedback, the participants combined their thoughts by writing an essay on a piece of paper in order to consolidate their ideas on discussing the deep meaning of the concept of «universal values» based on the experience of volunteer work practice.

At the final stage of the event, the students summed up the results, analyzed the conclusions on specific issues of the practice of universal values and unanimously decided on further joint volunteer actions.
