The library is the herald of science and knowledge!

On November 24, 2023 students of 3 and 4 courses of specialty "6В01201-Preschool Education and Upbringing", Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, organized by the professor of the department "Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy" Mankesh Aksaule and senior lecturer Shauenova Meruert, visited the sightseeing tours to the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The aim of the event is to widely promote the culture of book reading among young people. Library is a center of science and knowledge. It is the carrier of our spiritual cultural wealth from generation to generation, so the future will be bright for the younger generation who have grown up on the basis of this wealth. During the tour the students were able to learn about the history of the library, the composition of the collection, traditional and electronic catalogs, the location of the reading rooms, information about the services provided to the readers of the library, and to see the oldest works of the collection. Librarians wished our students good luck and creative success on the way to knowledge and science, noting that the place of success for the reader striving for knowledge is the library, that even in the era of new technologies, the book continues to influence human thinking and remains a spiritual food.
