Pedagogical support of parents, activity of teachers-psychologists and social pedagogues

On November 30, 2023 acting Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai KazNPU Assem Bulshekbayeva and senior lecturer of the Department of General and Applied Psychology Nurgaisha Kudusheva participated and made a report at the round table «Pedagogical support of parents and professional activity teachers-psychologists and social pedagogues», organized by the laboratory of innovative development of the Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for the development of giftedness and additional education of the State Institution «Department of Education of the Abai region».

The purpose of the round table is to analyze the types of pedagogical support for parents and the professional activities of teachers-psychologists and social pedagogues in educational institutions.

The round table was attended by heads of regional educational institutions, methodologists, educational psychologists, social educators, school teachers. During the round table, the features of the socio-pedagogical activity of social educators and psychologists in modern conditions, the professional activity of a social teacher at school, achievements: the role of dedication and perseverance, the activities of the centers of pedagogical support of parents, support of gifted and highly motivated students were highlighted and comprehensively analyzed.

University scientists conducted an analysis on the following topics: «Social educator - innovator of a comfortable educational environment», «Parents and children in the XXI century: psychological support», answered questions from teachers-psychologists, social educators.

Svetlana Ospanova, Director of the Regional Scientific and Methodological Centre for Development of Giftedness and Additional Education «Daryn» of the Department of Education of Abay region, presented letters of thanks to the scientists of Abay KazNPU and offered to continue cooperation in the future.

The regional round table allowed all participants to take part in the discussed problem, which contributed to the development of practical and professional skills of teachers-psychologists and social educators.
