Pediatric Consultation: "Preserving the Health of Preschool Children: Prevention and Proper Care"


On December 12, 2024, an important meeting on the topic "Preserving the Health of Preschool Children: Prevention and Proper Care" was held at the initiative of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy, Assem Bulshekbayeva.

 

The event was organized in collaboration with Master of Medical Sciences, top-category pediatrician of the Dobro Medical clinic, Zhansaya Myrzagulova.

 

The meeting was conducted within the framework of the course "Child Psychology" for 2nd-year students of the educational program 6B01201 - Preschool Education and Training. The students received valuable information on pressing issues related to preserving and strengthening children`s health and discussed the fundamentals of preventive measures and proper care.

 

The event was attended by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova, and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Nazira Atemkulova, who shared their insights on the health and psychological development of preschool children.

 

Pediatrician Zhansaya Myrzagulova emphasized the importance of proper nutrition, physical activity, and systematic implementation of preventive measures for safeguarding children`s health.

 

Particular attention was given to the responsibility of families and kindergarten teachers in maintaining children`s health, as well as the importance of teaching children about daily routines and personal hygiene. Methods for preventing and early detection of diseases such as ARVI, flu, and allergic reactions were discussed. Experts scientifically substantiated the positive impact of psychological support on children`s health and provided practical recommendations. The students expanded their theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the importance of maintaining children`s health. Through direct interaction with the pediatrician, future educators became acquainted with specific methods for monitoring children`s health. The exchange of ideas between experienced educators and medical specialists contributed to strengthening the integration between the fields of education and medicine. At the end of the meeting, students asked questions on the topic and showed great interest. Zhansaya Myrzagulova shared scientific and practical recommendations on caring for and protecting children`s health, offering valuable advice to future educators for their professional careers.
