A Webinar Held on “Designing and Using a Learning Environment in the Metaverse”

On November 20, 2025, EdUHK scholar Song Yanjie conducted a webinar for master’s students of the 7M01201 – Preschool Education program on the topic “Designing and Using a Learning Environment in the Metaverse.” The webinar explained methods for integrating metaverse technologies into the educational process, principles of designing learning environments in the metaverse, approaches to creating 3D interactive spaces, and the pedagogical potential of virtual learning scenarios.Participants were introduced to the key requirements for organizing instruction in virtual environments and ways to develop digital competence on metaverse platforms. At the end of the webinar, attendees received consultations related to their research topics.
