Creative and Cognitive Evening “My Favorite Fairy Tales” On November 20, 2025, Aizhan Auezova, a lecturer at the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, held a creative and cognitive evening entitled “My Favorite Fairy Tales” with 3rd-year students of the educational program 6B01201 – Preschool Education and Training, in accordance with the department’s annual work plan. The main goal of the event was to develop the creative abilities of future preschool teachers, to enhance their pedagogical and communicative competencies, and to familiarize them with the educational and developmental potential of theatrical activities.During the event, students, inspired by classical and folk fairy tales of children’s literature, created various types of theater performances (finger theater, tabletop theater, shadow theater, puppet theater, etc.) with their own hands and presented their stage productions. Each group demonstrated imagination and artistry, showing originality and creativity in portraying the characters. The event aimed to foster pedagogical creativity and aesthetic taste, as well as to provide students with practical experience in organizing theatrical activities with children. At the end of the evening, the head of the department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor U.K. Kyakbayeva, highly appreciated the students’ performances, noting that such creative projects make a significant contribution to the development of their professional skills and pedagogical excellence
