“INNOVATIONS AND EFFECTIVE PRACTICES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF A SOCIAL PEDAGOGUE”

     On December 23, 2025, the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, within the framework of the international OPEN SPACE event on the topic “Evolution of the Training of Social Pedagogues: Experience and Strategic Perspectives,” held the competition “Innovations and Effective Practices in the Development of Professional Competencies of a Social Pedagogue.”

    The purpose of the competition is the scientific and methodological identification, systematization, and dissemination of innovative approaches, effective pedagogical technologies, and advanced professional practices of social pedagogues in general education institutions, aimed at improving the quality of the contemporary socio-pedagogical process, as well as fostering professional interaction, networked collaboration, and professional communication within the specialist community.Jury Members:G. Omirserikova, social pedagogue of KSU “Secondary School No. 8 of Sarybulak Village”, Konaev City.The conducted competition was of particular significance for enhancing the professional competencies of social pedagogues, disseminating innovative experience, and expanding platforms for the exchange of best practices. Professional competitions organized at the republican level contribute to the раскрытие creative potential of social pedagogues, the identification of best practices, and the promotion of authorial technologies. A total of 12 social pedagogues took part in the competition, presenting their professional experience and innovative approaches. In this regard, the participants proposed that such competitions be held on an annual basis.
