    Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Creating a Subject-Developmental Environment as the Basis for the Professional Development of Future Preschool Teachers”

 

     In 2025, a scientific and methodological seminar entitled “Creating a Subject-Developmental Environment as the Basis for the Professional Development of Future Preschool Teachers” was held at the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.The seminar was organized within the framework of the research work of Razyia Karimova, a doctoral student of the educational program “8D01201 – Preschool Education and Upbringing,” and was based on the elective course “Designing the Developmental Environment of a Preschool Organization.” The scientific advisor was PhD, Acting Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova.The main objective of the seminar was to enhance the professional competence of future preschool teachers, to master the scientific and methodological foundations for designing and creating a subject-developmental environment in preschool organizations, as well as to develop students’ professional thinking, scientific worldview, and practical skills.The seminar was attended by third-year students of the educational program “6B01201 – Preschool Education and Upbringing,” along with the faculty members of the department. During the seminar, participants completed interactive tasks, developed project models related to the subject-developmental environment, and actively discussed the impact of the environment on child development, taking into account age-related characteristics and the principles of safety, accessibility, and variability.In addition, students presented their mini research projects and scientifically defended their ideas on designing a subject-developmental environment in preschool organizations. Through scientific discussions, participants improved their skills in clear, logical, and academically appropriate communication, as well as in the systematic presentation of research results.At the conclusion of the seminar, a feedback session was conducted, during which students’ opinions and suggestions were collected. Participants noted that the seminar provided them with essential theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary for their future professional activities. The scientific and methodological seminar was highly appreciated as a significant practical platform contributing to the professional development of future preschool teachers.
