Scientific and methodological seminar on «Empirical research in the field of preschool education»

 On February 3, 2026, G.Z. Taubaeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, conducted a scientific and methodological seminar for 1st–2nd year doctoral students enrolled in the educational program 8D01201 – “Preschool Education and Upbringing.”

During the seminar, each doctoral student became acquainted with research methods (theoretical and empirical) relevant to their research topics. These included verbal methods (conversation, question-and-answer, interview, survey), visualization methods (viewing images, demonstrations, observation of toys and objects), practical methods (exercises, modeling, experiments, productive activities), and game-based methods (didactic, role-playing, physical, and national games, as well as performing game activities).

The seminar provided cognitive, methodological, systematizing, social, explanatory, and prognostic insights into the essence, main directions, methods, and approaches of professional activity. The lecturer emphasized that the seminar content offered essential theoretical knowledge and practical experience for future professional work.

The scientific and methodological seminar was highly appreciated as an important practical platform contributing to the professional development of future educators.
