Festive event in honor of the Day of Thanks

On March 1, 2019, Dr. PhD Asem Bulshekbayeva, an adviser of the Department of «Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy» of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, with first-year students (the Kazakh branch) specialty «5B012300 - Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge», held a festive event dedicated to the first spring holiday «I am grateful for the past and the present».

The purpose of the event is to increase the attitude towards the value of «respect», to gratefully treat the past and help teach students to plan their future effectively.

The director of the institute Berikzhan Almukhambetov opened the festive event. In his speech, he spoke about the history of Thanksgiving Day, its meaning, sincerely congratulated all those present on the holiday and said his heartfelt wish.

Head of the department Ulbosyn Kyyakbayeva thanked the team of students and teachers. All teachers of the department attended the event.

The first day of spring was marked emotionally fun and joyful. At the festive event among the teachers and spectators dances were organized, games were played and songs were sung.

First-year students, who first met this holiday at the university, thanked the teaching sraff with the performance of poems and songs, thereby adding fun and young enthusiasm to the general atmosphere of the festive event.
