Fruitful cooperation with a foreign professor

On October 3, 2023, Vice-Rector for Strategy, Digitalization and Internationalization, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kulsariyeva Aktolkyn met with Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Altenbach Holm from Otto von Gericke University (Germany). The foreign guest is a well-known scientist in the field of mechanics of materials and structures, condensed matter physics, editor-in-chief of the scientific journal "ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematick und Mechanik", member of the European Mechanics Association, foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

During the conversation, the problems of training undergraduates and doctoral students in the field of physics were discussed, using the experience of cooperation between the two universities. Attention was drawn to the importance of conducting scientific exchanges and cooperation in the field of training scientific personnel. The director of the Department of International Cooperation Baynazar Zh. and the head of the Department of Physics Professor Kosov V. took part in the conversation.
