6В05302 – Students of the Physics in industrial practice As part of the industrial (professional) practice, students of the educational program 6B05302 – Physics were assigned to the following practice bases: 1. Institute of Nuclear Physics; 2. Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute; 3. National Center for Expertise and Certification; 4. O. Zholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering. On January 15, 2026, an introductory visit to the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute (FAI) was held. The institute is a leading scientific center in the field of astronomy and astrophysics in Kazakhstan. During the visit, students became acquainted with the history of the institute, the main areas of its scientific activity, as well as its modern observational and research infrastructure. Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of an astronomer’s work, including the organization of observations, the use of telescopes and recording equipment, and the processing and interpretation of astronomical data. The institute’s researchers presented ongoing scientific projects, including studies of the Sun, stars, the interstellar medium, and objects of the distant Universe. Industrial practice plays an important role in the training of future specialists, as it allows students to connect theoretical knowledge with real scientific work and to develop an understanding of the modern research environment.
For the group of students assigned to the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute, academic supervision is provided by PhD, Acting Assistant Professor of the Department of Physics, Diana Makhmutovna Nasirova. From the Fesenkov Astrophysical Institute, the practice is supervised by PhD, Acting Assistant Professor, Saule Akhmetbekovna Shomshekova.
