Foresight session «Student-centred learning: Reloading»

 

On March 25, 2022, at Abai KazNPU a foresight-session with the participation of stakeholders, employers and representatives of universities in the direction of preparation of teachers/educators with subject specialization in general development (basics of law and economics) and teachers/educators in humanities subjects (history) on the theme «Student-centred learning: reloading» was held.

 

The event was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Educational and Methodological Association - Project Management Team, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU Maktagali Bektemesov. The moderators were team leaders in the preparation of teachers/educators on humanities subjects (history) Mereke Tulekova and with a subject specialization in general development (law and economics) Janel Saylibayeva.

 

Presentations were made by Sholpan Nurman - assistant professor of Abai KazNPU - «Prospects and new tasks of preparation of teachers on humanitarian subjects», Gulfira Otepova - professor of Pavlodar Pedagogical University - «Use of Archive Documents in History Classes», Kanat Bodeyev - Associate Professor at Buketov Karaganda University - «Issues of History Teacher Training in accordance with the updated content of education», Kiikbai Zhaulin - professor of Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Esenov - «Problems of teaching the history of famine of 1932-1933 in Western Kazakhstan», Zhazylbek Lyazzat - Associate Professor of Abai KazNPU - «Problems of combination of person-oriented teaching on basics of law and economics with actualization of curricula», Zhanel Saylibayeva - Acting Associate Professor of Abai KazNPU - «On prospects of development of a new EP «Educational Law» (Magistracy).


During the Foresight session a number of proposals from representatives of pedagogical universities in the field of history, economics and law were voiced, decisions were made on the topical issues of the most concern and necessary issues, and many recommendations for additions to the educational programs were approved.
