Vocational guidance work "Tourism and society: how to make travelling mutually beneficial"

On December 2, 2023, at the Institute of Natural History and Geography the representatives of the tourism agency "Sultan Travel Agency" LLP met with the students of the 4th year of EP "6В11101-Tourism", "6В11103-Restaurant and hotel business", 3rd year of EP "6В01516-Geography-History", 2nd year of EP "6В05203-Geography" on the theme "Tourism and society: how to make travel mutually beneficial" within the framework of career guidance work. Representatives of this company - our graduates Amirkhan Nazerke, Ansagan Aliyeva and Aghajan Madina - spoke about the advantages of working in the field of tourism by personal example. In addition, they informed about the types of tours provided to managers of tourism agency - Info-tours, Event-tours and others, as well as gave information about career opportunities in industry companies. The event was organised by the staff of the Department of Geography and Ecology - acting associate professor K.M.Omarov, senior lecturer A.S.Savanchieva and lecturer A.N.Beken. The meeting was attended by lecturers of the department - Associate Professor S.N.Irkitbaev and Senior Lecturer A.U.Abulgaziev.
