A scientific seminar «Contents of the project of the modular educational program for specialty 5В011600-Geography»

January 31, 2018 at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography was held a regular meeting of the scientific seminar on the direction of «Geography», «Contents of the project of the modular educational program for specialty 5В011600-Geography».

Director of the Institute, Professor Kulyash Kaymuldinova presented the participants with the goals and objectives of the scientific seminar.

The chairman of the seminar - Doctor of Economics, Professor Bahadur Abdimanapov - spoke about the the tendencies of change of educational programs in general education institutions and the content of modular educational programs of specialty 5B011600-Geography. In her main report, associate professor Sholpan Karbayeva outlined the concept and described the structure of the modular educational program. Particular attention was paid to general and subject competencies, which should be formed when the program is mastered. As an example, she led the individual modules of the program.

The Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Work, Associate Professor Amantai Sagyndykov summed up the results of the seminar. He highly appreciated the organization of the seminar, noted its relevance and wished the seminar participants success in their further work.
